    The Marble Range is beautiful and rugged. It has many native and unique plants and animals there. Permission to enter the Marble Range is required from at least one local farmer (to cross their land). Recommended you take PLENTY of water and wearing snake gaiters is a must given you will see snakes. Recommended you wear hiking boots as the terrain is rocky and uneven. It is also recommended that you wear tough durable pants as there are many spiky plants etc. which will cut up your legs otherwise. Also recommended is a hat and sunscreen. To track the entire length of the rangers will take you all day. Prickles, flies and ants are plentiful.
